PATA Environmental Award 2004
Once again, The Explore Nepal Group has won the PATA Environmental Award 2004
for its environment education program. Indeed, we worked towards building
awareness with in schools regarding urban environmental problems such as air
pollution, water pollution, solid waste management and banning the use of
plastic bags. In order to achieve goals of the programme and generate mass
public awareness, during the implementation of programs, ENG has formed eco-clubs
in more than twenty government, semi-government, public and private schools.
Members of the school community run the eco-clubs and ENG has been providing
continuous support from program evolution to execution.
Our social and environmental activities are quite vast and we invite you to take a look on our website for more information.
