 eco tour africa

ecoAfrica Travel has been online for the past 10 years, bringing 20,000 delighted travellers to Africa on over 9,000 African adventures - to countries that offer superb wildlife and a solid infrastructure while ensuring a safe stay.

We are members of the African Travel & Tourism Association and South African Tourism Services Association.

We arrange your flights, accommodation, safari and transfers. Our travel consultants provide an efficient service, and are online weekdays from 7am to 4pm African time, for live travel advice. We quote you the same price as our operators themselves would, and charge the operator an administration fee for handling your travel arrangements. Our clientele hails predominantly from the US and Europe.

At EcoAfrica Travel, you can select your type of safari - you may wish to interact with local communities, researchers, expert guides, scientists or veterinarians on a special interest safari (ecoQuest) or prefer to stay at your chosen lodge while exploring your surroundings daily. Accommodation includes safari tents (some rustic, others with en suite bathroom and private viewing decks), thatched cottages and bungalows and elegant African lodges.

Choose from the following product categories:

Active
Active and sporting pursuits (walks, hikes, mountain biking, canoeing, diving, sailing) in nature are the highlights of these tours and safaris - a reasonable level of fitness is required.

Self-drive
Drive through Africa in your fully-equipped 4x4 safari vehicle or campervan, usually travelling in a small convoy led by a professional guide.

Camping
Sleep in domed tents on campsites across Africa. Guests may be required to participate in setting up camp. Smaller groups of travellers than on overland safaris.

Overland
Traverse various African regions or countries with a group of adventurers in customised overland trucks, in the company of experienced guides.

These lodges are situated in pristine marine areas - explore the beaches, reefs and oceans on sunset walks, snorkelling trips and sailing adventures.
